This is one of my favorite Qigong flow. The Three Treasures Qigong flow is a slow-paced Qigong flow that includes standing meditations. It is rooted from the Daoist system and it is a foundational practice that is designed to activate and integrate the three main energy centers of the body, the Three Treasures.
Masters looked within and discovered that some parts of the body have more energy than others. They called these areas of the body dantian or elixir fields. There are three main dantian: the Lower Dantian, the Middle Dantian and the Upper Dantian. The precious energies that gather in the three dantian are the Three Treasures: Jing, Qi and Shen.
The first Treasure at the Lower Dantian is Jing.It is the root, the essence, the treasure of the body that allows us to release stress, feeling full of vitality and allowing us to heal. This is the foundation
The second Treasure at the heart center or Middle Dantian is Qi. It is the flow, the living current. It is the ruler of emotions, it is how we perceive life (full glass vs empty glass). It is the energy of transformation.
The third Treasure at the Upper Dantian is Shen. It is the field, the Spirit. It is your awareness, the witness. It brings higher perspective, a clear vision and allows us to feel connected with Source and wisdom. It is your intuition. It allows you to become the Master of your mind!
When the Three Treasures are full, balanced and integrated you feel nourished, empowered, connected and completely fulfilled. You feel lighter, "aligned", and with inner harmony. So, the intent of Qigong practice is to continually replenish these energies as well as to refine their quality.
The process of refinement is a full body transformation that integrates Jing into Qi into Shen. Three Treasures Qigong Flow is the first step to activate these precious energies and integrate them in the central meridian channel.
In this Qigong routine we do some standing meditation connecting with the Earth force, the Yin energy and the Heaven force, the Yang energy and to the Huiman force at the Middle Dantian, the heart center. Standing Qigong forms have been a fundamental practice in Qigong for centuries. Martial artists use standing meditation to build the Qi and harness power. The standing meditation can be a little challenging at first but it is a training of your willpower. It cultivates focus, perseverance, confidence, and strength. This practice is great to do when you feel out of balance, or if you need to stand for yourself and need to accomplish a lot as it brings strength. It is also effective to help insomnia and boost the immune system.
Join me on my online Qigong flow classes and in person Qigong flow classes, and Let’s bring alignment, strength and light!
